A lovely fresh syrup that is wonderful on fresh fruit and ice cream. Also great in marinades.

Recipe Panna Cotta with our Apple Sea Buckthorn Syrup with Lemon:
For 6 servings:
Ingredients:
- 2.5 dl whipping cream- 1.5 dl whole milk
- 2 dl apple-sea buckthorn syrup with lemon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2.5 dl house beer
Garnish: Apples
Procedure:
Boil the cream, milk, cane sugar, apple-sea buckthorn syrup and salt over medium heat for 10 minutes. Stir regularly. Meanwhile, soak the custard in water. Add the custard to the panna cotta mixture and whisk lightly. Sift the mixture into your cups/bowls. Here we have used the small classic ovenproof bowls, which have a small edge/groove on the inside. The panna cotta is filled to about 0.5 cm below the edge. The fresh apples are cut where they fit on the inner edge of the bowl, so that the apple slice floats slightly above the panna cotta itself. We have also cut a small house in the apple so that you can see the panna cotta. For decoration and fancy purposes, we have taken the stems from some apples and placed them in the panna cotta in the middle of the hole in the apple ring. It gives a nice, cozy and celebratory apple illusion. If you don't have the little white, ovenproof bowls at home, you can use a glass (or something else) that is thinner at the bottom than at the top. Another idea is to hollow out an apple and use the apple as a bowl. Let it cool in the fridge for 10 minutes in the bowls on the kitchen counter. Then stir it carefully and put it in the fridge. Garnish with apples and apple slices, if desired.
Enjoy your meal!
