When you send us an order, you must provide your name, address, telephone number, email address and delivery instructions. We need this information to be able to keep you informed about your order and to be able to deliver the goods to you. The information is stored properly in accordance with applicable Danish legislation. All the information we register is treated confidentially and in accordance with the Personal Data Act. As required by the Accounting Act, this information is stored for 5 years. If you have created an account, e.g. as a business customer, we store the password for your account on samsoemadsnedkeri.com encrypted, but beyond that we do not store and transmit customer information encrypted. Personal information provided on samsoemadsnedkeri.com is only disclosed to the company's internal departments and selected and trusted partners. A partner can, for example, be a shipping company that uses information about your private address to deliver a package. Information is not passed on to third parties. We charge a delivery fee of DKK 39 and send your package to the nearest GLS parcel shop. The fee includes packaging, wrapping and delivery via GLS to the nearest parcel shop. The packaging is subsequently your property and therefore does not have to be returned. If you purchase goods for more than DKK 350, the delivery fee is DKK 0 to the nearest parcel shop. If you want your goods sent home to a private address, you can purchase this for DKK 29 in addition to the DKK 39 - that is DKK 68. If you shop for more than DKK 350, you get free shipping to the nearest parcel box. And of course you can still choose to purchase shipping to a private address for DKK 29.
We will send your package within 1-3 business days with GLS to your private address. If you are not at home when the delivery is made, the package will be delivered to the nearest GLS parcel shop. If the item is not delivered at the agreed time, you as the buyer must contact us as soon as possible at kontakt@samsoemadsnedkeri.dk. The sooner you contact us, the better chance we have of finding out what went wrong in cooperation with GLS.
There is a 14-day right of withdrawal according to the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you;
- have received your item
- obtains physical possession of the last item when it concerns an agreement for several different items ordered in one order and delivered individually
- receives the last lot or the last part in physical possession, when it concerns an agreement for the delivery of a product consisting of several lots or parts. You must notify us that you wish to return your product before the cancellation period expires. The notification must be sent to kontakt@samsoemadsnedkeri.com. In your notification, you must clearly inform us that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation. You must send your order back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. When returning, you are responsible for the product being intact and properly packaged. You bear the risk of the product from the time of delivery. You can send the product with GLS or cancel the purchase by giving a clear notification and delivering it in person to the address below. If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, the following text can be used.

Goods exempt from the right of withdrawal: The following types of goods are exempt from the right of withdrawal:
- Supply of food, drinks or other goods for the current consumption of the household, which are physically delivered to the consumer's home, place of residence or workplace by a trader who frequently and regularly operates fixed routes. - Supply of goods which are likely to deteriorate or become obsolete quickly. - Supply of sealed goods which, for health protection or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return and where the seal has been broken after delivery.
You are only liable for any reduction in the value of the goods due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, properties and the way in which the goods function. In other words – you can try the goods in the same way as if you tried them in a physical store. If the goods have been tried in addition to what is described above, we consider them used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only get a part or none of the purchase price back, depending on the commercial value of the goods. In order to receive the full purchase price back, you must do the same as you can in a physical store. You may try the goods, but not actually use them. Missing original packaging may possibly constitute a reduction in value, so to be sure of receiving all the money back, it is recommended that the goods are returned in their original packaging. Original packaging means a box or other packaging specifically intended for the goods. You must pay for the postage for returning the goods yourself. Always remember to choose postal parcels with delivery when sending the package back with Post Danmark. The package with the returned goods must include a copy of the order confirmation, and preferably a note stating that you wish to exercise your right of return, the date of purchase, the date of receipt of the package, your name and address. The goods must be returned to Samsø Madsnedkeri, Tingvej 13, 8305 Samsø. If you regret your purchase, you will of course receive the amount you have paid to us back. In the event of a decrease in value for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount.
Refunds will be made no later than 14 days after we have received your notification of return. However, we may withhold payment until we have documentation that the item has been returned. We will generally refund the amount to the same payment method that you used for payment, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. If you have sent in an item for cancellation or complaint, you will always receive an email when we have received the item. In the email you will receive information about the further process in connection with the processing of your cancellation/complaint.
The defects rules of the Danish Sales Act may apply to purchases of goods. You have a 2-year right of complaint. For all goods (including goods with a limited shelf life), ordinary wear and tear/deterioration is not a defect within the meaning of the Danish Sales Act, even though wear and tear/deterioration may occur before the expiry of the 2-year right of complaint. This means that you can either have the goods repaired, exchanged, your money refunded or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation. If you make a complaint more than 6 months after your purchase, you must prove that the error or defect has arisen as a result of a manufacturing defect. It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other harmful behavior.
How soon should I file a complaint? You must file a complaint within a “reasonable time” after you have discovered the defect in the product. If you file a complaint within two months of discovering the defect, the complaint will always be timely.
We will refund reasonable shipping costs: If the complaint is justified, we will of course refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. If your goods are broken, please contact us at kontakt@samsoemadnsnedkeri.dk We will then send you a return label so that you do not have to pay the postage for the return shipment yourself. Returned goods must be sent to Samsø Madsnedkeri, Tingvej 13, 8305 Samsø.
We need the following information when you send the item to us: When you return the item, please state the problem in as much detail as possible. Remember that the item must always be returned in proper packaging, and remember to get a receipt for shipping so that we can refund your shipping costs.
What should I send back? You must enclose a copy of the order confirmation. Please note: We do not accept packages sent by cash on delivery.
IMPORTANT: Always remember to return the goods as parcel post so that they can be tracked.
Please always check all your items upon receipt. If an item has visible defects or has been damaged during shipping, please contact us as soon as possible at kontakt@samsoemadsnedkeri.dk and we will exchange it without shipping costs for you.
